Hal Spence is a veteran technology pioneer who participated in developing Silicon Valley as a center for high-tech business in the 80s and 90s. He joined HSQ Technology in 1991 and has been instrumental in establishing the company as a leading manufacturer, integrator and contractor specializing in data acquisition, control and communications systems. Under his direction, HSQ Technology has expanded its range of systems software and hardware products and services as well as its industry and geographic footprint to four continents around the globe. He has extensive experience designing and developing computer and radio systems, networks, operating systems and application software. Prior to joining HSQ Technology, he managed the communications division of San Mateo County in California and served as a project analyst/project manager for Motorola Control Systems.
