Ed Kennedy has worked in the railroad construction industry 20 years, beginning as a track laborer and working in progressively more responsible positions. He currently serves as vice president of RailWorks Track Services, Inc., the company's union signatory, where he is responsible for directing all operations, focusing on safety, equipment utilization and other process improvements for the growing $50+ million division. While serving as general manager of RailWorks' track construction office in Youngstown, Ohio, for the past decade, his team achieved dramatic revenue growth and successfully completed an impressive range of projects for Class I railroads as well as large industrial clients throughout the northeastern United States.
