Eldon "Buck" Giese came to RailWorks in 2009, bringing with him 36 years of industry experience with railroad track maintenance equipment and a strong background in equipment operation and safety. At RailWorks, he manages the purchase and maintenance of the company's vehicle and equipment fleet. Buck's career has included employment with CN, where he spent nearly 10 years in various aspects of managing equipment repair and maintenance. Before joining CN, he was with Wisconsin Central Systems, a regional railroad serving Wisconsin, Upper Michigan and Ontario. In his 14 years there, he was responsible for planning and implementing programs and procedures for the purchase, repair and maintenance of engineering department roadway equipment. Buck also spent more than a decade with the Chicago and Northwestern Transportation Company.
