| 1900s - Comstock’s first projects include the Seventy-First Regiment Armory, the Trinity Building and U.S. Realty Building (twin towers), the City Investing Building, the Prudential Insurance Company in Newark, NJ, and power-generating facilities, including New York Edison Company’s Waterside Station the BMT’s Williamsburg Power House. Comstock also performs the electrical contracting work on the Hudson Terminal Building, one of its earliest clients. At the time this business was regarded as the largest electrical contract ever awarded. |
