Jeffrey M. Levy
President and Chief Executive Officer

levyJeff Levy is a business leader with more than 30 years experience in the design and construction industry. Since joining RailWorks in 2005 as president and CEO, he has led successful initiatives to strengthen the company’s financial base, focusing on its core track and transit systems construction and maintenance businesses. During his tenure, RailWorks has experienced dramatic growth in both revenue and profitability, nearly doubling in size to $500 million while investing in developing its people, its safety culture and its work equipment fleet. Jeff previously served as the president and COO of EMCOR Group, Inc. a $4.5 billion, Fortune 500 company with 26,000 employees, where he played a major role in profitably building the business through a combination of organic growth, strategic alliances and acquisitions. back to top

John August
Executive Vice President

AugustJohn August is a seasoned business executive with extensive operating and financial management experience in the construction industry. Since joining RailWorks in 2005, he has directed corporate reorganization efforts and refocused the company’s track construction companies. Under his leadership, these businesses have achieved dramatic revenue and profitability growth, expanding both their geographic footprint and scope of services. John previously served as vice president of operations for Fortune 500-company EMCOR Group, Inc., where he was responsible for mechanical construction operations. His reorganization efforts resulted in improved cash flows and across-the-board operating improvements. back to top

Gene Cellini
Senior Vice President, Tax

CelliniGene Cellini has served the corporation and its subsidiaries for more than 20 years, providing exemplary leadership of the Tax department. In 1985 he joined Comstock Group, Inc, formerly the parent company of L.K. Comstock & Company, which is now a RailWorks subsidiary. He was named vice president of tax in 1998 and is responsible for managing the tax obligations of RailWorks and its subsidiaries, including tax transactions, federal, state and local tax filings, audits, hearings and litigation. In 2008 he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Tax. Prior to joining the company, he served as a manager for Big 8 accounting firm Deloitte Haskins and Sells. back to top

Harry Z. Glantz
Vice President, Human Resources

GlantzHarry Glantz joined RailWorks in 2008 with more than 25 years of human resources experience. He is responsible for all HR functions for US and Canadian operations. During his tenure at RailWorks, he has been instrumental in standardizing HR practices and implementing a new human resources information management system across all RailWorks companies. Harry most recently led human resources for the North American operations of ITOCHU Corporation, a diverse Japanese trading company. Prior to that he held human resources leadership positions at Atari, Inc. (formerly GT Interactive Software), Citicorp, and Steinway Musical Properties. Harry was a professional trumpet player before his human resources career. back to top

James R. Hansen
Vice President, Business Development
HansenJim Hansen is a longtime railway industry leader with more than 30 years of experience in railroad engineering and maintenance of way. Since joining RailWorks in 2007, he has strengthened the company's ties with Class I and regional roadroads and helped launch new maintenance-of-way services. He most recently served as North American sales manager for Stanley Railroad Products. Jim is active in industry associations. He currently serves as president of the Northwest Maintenance Railway Club and serves on National Railroad Construction Maintenance Association, Inc. (NRC), AREMA and REMSA committees. back to top

Veronica Lubatkin

Veronica Lubatkin joined RailWorks in 2009 with 25 years of finance and management experience. She most recently served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Par Pharmaceutical Companies, Inc. Prior to that, she held executive management positions with Schering-Plough Corporation where she had responsibility for multiple locations as part of worldwide operations. Veronica is responsible for all financial operations including accounting, treasury, internal audit, risk management, financial planning & analysis and tax as well as information technology. back to top

Tamara Mathews

Tammy Mathews is a well-qualified safety professional with more than 25 years of safety, health and environmental experience in the construction, engineering and electrical industrial environments. She joined RailWorks in 2009 and is responsible for safety at RailWorks' track and transit systems businesses throughout the United States and Canada. Her efforts focus on training, programs and procedures to safeguard the health and safety of RailWorks employees and others who share our jobsites. Tammy mostly recent served as the environment, health & safety manager for TAQA New World, an international energy company formerly known as CMS Enterprises. back to top

Steven G. Milewicz
Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
MilewiczSteven Milewicz came to RailWorks in 2007 with more than 20 years of legal and management experience in construction, development and related fields. He has served as both in-house and outside counsel and held management positions in corporate, investment banking and entrepreneurial organizations. He previously served as general counsel for Atlantic Hoisting and Scaffolding, a New York-based hoisting and scaffolding specialty contractor. He is responsible for all legal matters related to acquiring and executing business for RailWorks and its subsidiaries, including human resources, contracts and licensing and other related commercial affairs. back to top

Ben D'Alessandro

President, RailWorks Transit, Inc.
Ben D'Alessandro came to RailWorks Corporation in 1999 with extensive management and rail-transit operating experience. In 2000, he was named executive vice president of L.K. Comstock & Company. He also serves as president of RailWorks Transit, Inc. During his decade as president of the company's New York operations, he reinforced L.K. Comstock's reputation as the principal electrical contractor for the Metropolitan Transit Authority in New York. He has overseen more than $1 billion in new construction and rehabilitation transit work and implemented new technologies for the New York City Transit Authority. Prior to joining RailWorks, he served in top management positions at F&V Metro Contracting and Impulse Enterprises, both established contractors serving the rail-transit industry. He also held a management position at Arthur Anderson. back to top


Michael P. Holt
President, RailWorks Systems, Inc.
holtMichael Holt is a construction industry veteran who came to RailWorks in 2008. His responsibilities include all the transit & systems operations of RailWorks Systems, Inc., including L.K. Comstock National Transit and RailWorks Signals & Communications. He has more than more than 30 years of construction experience in the public and private sectors, focusing on heavy civil, building, and water and wastewater treatment facility projects. He most recently served as vice president and East Coast regional manager for MWH Constructors, Inc., an international program management, consulting and construction services firm. Prior to that, he held leadership positions at a range of respected construction companies, including Holt & Mahone Constructors, a water and wastewater contracting firm he co-founded, and the Heavy Civil Group of Beers Skanska, formerly Beers Construction Company. back to top

Scott Brace
President, RailWorks Track Systems, Inc
levyScott Brace is a track construction veteran with more than 35 years of business and industry leadership. Since joining RailWorks in 1998, he has been instrumental in developing the company's North American track construction network and has successfully completed many strategic projects, including RailWorks' first light rail LRT prject, the Hiawatha LRT in Minneapolis. Scott began his career with Railroad Service, Inc., beginning as a track laborer and operator, then opening and managing a branch office in Fargo, North Dakota, and later becoming its owner. During his 27 years of service, he built the company into the leading railroad contactor in the region. Scott has an accomplished record of industry leadership, including service as chairman and a 15-year board member for the National Railroad Construction Maintenance Association, Inc. (NRC), president of the Northwest Maintenance Railway Club, and a board member of the Minnesota Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. He currently serves as a REMSA board director. back to top

Jamey Craig
President, PNR RailWorks Inc.
Craig-rJamey Craig brings nearly 30 years of track construction experience to this leadership role as president of PNR RailWorks, the largest railway contractor in Canada. Soon after joining PNR RailWorks in 1984, he completed the company's first major venture in Eastern Canada:  construction of a new rail yard facility for Via Rail. While leading the company's Eastern division for more than 20 years, he was instrumental in dramatically expanding it revenue base and project scope. In 2006 he was named president of PNR RailWorks.  Under his leadership, the company has achieved double-digit annual revenue growth and exemplary safety performance. Jamey earned his professional engineering status in 1982. back to top

Ed Kennedy
Vice President, Operations, RailWorks Track Services, Inc.
levyEd Kennedy has worked in the railroad construction industry about 20 years, beginning as a track laborer and working in progressively more responsible positions. He currently serves as vice president of RailWorks Track Services, Inc., the company's union signatory, where he is responsible for directing all operations, focusing on safety, equipment utilization and other process improvements for the growing $50+ million division. While serving as general manager of RailWorks’ track construction office in Youngstown, Ohio, for the past decade, his team achieved dramatic revenue growth and successfully completed an impressive range of projects for Class I railroads as well as large industrial clients throughout the northeastern United States. back to top
