San Joaquin Valley Railroad (SJVR)
- Constructed 200,000 feet of track
- Installed 50,000 ties
- Reconstructed 27 crossings and surfaced 30 miles of track
RailWorks Track Systems completed an extensive rehabilitation project on SJVR's the Sunset and Buttonwillow subdivisions in preparation for the opening of a new crude oil transfer facility on the line.
RailWorks crews reconstructed more than 200,000 feet of track, installed nearly 50,000 ties, reconstructed 27 crossings and surfaced about 30 miles of track.
The bridge division also rehabilitated two bridges on SJVR’s Buttonwillow Subdivision in Bakersfield, CA. The crew worked in tight quarters to complete the work over weekend outages, which included replacing stringers. All work was completed on Sunday evening, allowing the track to be placed back into service to meet SJVR’s operating schedule
