Project Description

RailWorks performed repairs to multiple ballast-deck bridges in a tight, 28-hour window on the SunRail Corridor Project.

Project Scope

At the SunRail Corridor Project, where RailWorks and joint venture partner Archer Western are constructing a 61-mile design-build commuter rail line project in the Greater Orlando area, engineers found needed repairs on several ballast-deck bridges.  RailWorks’ Bridge Division responded quickly to change out the stringers in a tight time frame.  Careful preparation allowed RailWorks to accomplish the job within 28 hours.
