RailWorks constructed the track infrastructure at VeraSun’s new ethanol biorefinery in Janesville, MN, one of the largest in the United States.
Scope
RailWorks constructed 52,000 track feet of CWR and installed 22 turnouts.
Unique features
This facility completed construction in November 2008. It has annual capacity to process 39 million bushels of corn and produce 110 million gallons of ethanol, which makes efficient rail transportation a necessity.
