Kevin Riddett

President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Kevin Riddett joined RailWorks Corporation in 2016 with more than 30 years of industry experience developing and leading transportation-related enterprises across North America and in Europe. He previously served as President of the Siemens Mobility Division, where he was responsible for Siemen’s North American transportation portfolio of companies, including rolling stock, rail automation, rail electrification, intelligent traffic management systems and rail service businesses. Prior to this position, Kevin served as CEO of Invensys Rail, which was acquired by Siemens. He also served as president and CEO of the North American tire and global fiber optic businesses of Pirelli & Co. He has held executive positions with Ansaldo STS USA, Union Switch and Signal and Transcontrol Corp. Kevin graduated from State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Justice.

Veronica Lubatkin

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Veronica Lubatkin joined RailWorks in 2009 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer responsible for finance and accounting, risk management and information technology. During her tenure at RailWorks, she has championed significant change across the business, including the implementation of an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that integrated more than a dozen previously independent systems. Prior to joining RailWorks, she served as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Par Pharmaceutical Companies, Inc. and held executive management positions with Schering-Plough Corporation. Veronica began her career at Arthur Andersen, LLP.

Gene Cellini

Executive Vice President, Tax

Gene Cellini has served the corporation and its subsidiaries for more than 30 years, providing leadership of the Tax department. In 1985 he joined Comstock Group, Inc, formerly the parent company of L.K. Comstock & Company, which is now a RailWorks subsidiary. He was named vice president of tax in 1998 and is responsible for managing the tax obligations of RailWorks and its subsidiaries, including tax transactions, federal, state and local tax filings, audits, hearings and litigation. In 2008 he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Tax, and in 2016, he was promoted to Executive Vice President, Tax. Prior to joining the company, he served as a manager for Big 8 accounting firm Deloitte Haskins and Sells.

Danielle Kandybowicz

Vice President, Human Resources 

Danielle Kandybowicz is the Vice President of Human Resources at RailWorks and oversees all HR and HRIS activities across the United States and Canada.  Danielle's expertise includes talent and workforce development, HR strategic planning, compliance, HR systems testing and implementation, compensation, employee engagement, and performance management.  With over 10 years of industry experience, she joined RailWorks in 2013 and has held various roles in HR throughout her tenure with the company, most notably leading the recruiting department.  Prior to RailWorks, Danielle began her career in HR as a recruiter for an IT service management company within the financial industry.  Danielle holds a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Long Island University and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Sacred Heart University.  

Bob Cummings

VP, Chief Information Officer

Bob Cummings is responsible for all information technology and systems functions for RailWorks Corp. and its subsidiaries, including shared application and infrastructure services. He joined RailWorks in 2011 with more than 30 years of experience employing information technology to transform and drive process improvements throughout mid-sized enterprises. Before coming to RailWorks, Bob helped direct information technology initiatives for several notable media companies, including Harper Collins, Newscorp, Primedia, Hachette Filipacchi Media and CBS. Bob holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University and a BS in Mathematics from Iona College.

Glenn Hartrick

Vice President, Procurement and Strategic Planning

Glenn Hartrick joined RailWorks in 2010 and currently serves as the Vice President of Procurement and Strategic Planning. He has held various leadership positions across finance and accounting, including responsibilities for employee and risk management. Currently he is responsible for the procurement function, equipment and fleet, as well as employee benefits.  He also held positions at AkzoNobel and Aon. Glenn holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration [MBA] from Seton Hall University and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Houston.

Bruce Jones

General Manager, NARSTCO, INC.

Bruce Jones joined NARSTCO in 2019 as General Manager with 30+ years of accounting, finance and operations experience across North America. Prior to joining NARSTCO, he served as the Managing Director and VP of Operations for Weir Group PLC as well as VP of Operations for Dover Corporation. Bruce earned his Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Wilkes University and his Bachelors’ of Science in Accounting from Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Jason Lauffer

Chief Strategy Officer

Jason came to RailWorks in 2017 with more than 20 years of rail-transit industry experience. He joined the company as Vice President of Business Development and in 2018 was promoted to Chief Strategy Officer. In this role, he leads the development and deployment of the long-term strategic business vision for RailWorks. Prior to joining RailWorks, Jason served as Vice President of Business Development for Bureau Veritas NA, a testing, inspection and certification services firm, where was responsible for business development for the North American rail and transit market. He also has held positions with Thales Transport & Security, Mitsubishi Electric, Bombardier Transportation and Alstom Transportation. He is a certified electrical engineer, earning his Master’s Degree in Business Administration and his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Point Park University.

Benjamin D. Levy

Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Ben Levy joined RailWorks in 2011 with an accomplished record of legal and management experience in transportation, business and finance. As General Counsel, Ben is responsible for all legal matters for RailWorks Corporation and its subsidiaries. He has previously served as both outside and in-house counsel and held management positions in corporate and legal organizations. Before coming to RailWorks, he served as Deputy General Counsel for Maersk Inc., a U.S. subsidiary of A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S, a conglomerate whose activities include a variety of transportation-related businesses. Ben earned a BA from Haverford College and a JD degree from The George Washington University Law School.

Ben D'Alessandro

President, L.K. Comstock & Company, Inc.

New York Division President, RailWorks Transit, Inc.

Ben D'Alessandro came to RailWorks Corporation in 1999 with extensive management and rail-transit operating experience. In 2000, he was named executive vice president of L.K. Comstock & Company. He also serves as president of RailWorks Transit, Inc. During his decade as president of the company's New York operations, he reinforced L.K. Comstock's reputation as the principal electrical contractor for the Metropolitan Transit Authority in New York. He has overseen more than $1 billion in new construction and rehabilitation transit work and implemented new technologies for the New York City Transit Authority. Prior to joining RailWorks, he served in top management positions at F&V Metro Contracting and Impulse Enterprises, both established contractors serving the rail-transit industry. He also held a management position at Arthur Andersen.

Bill Heavin

President, L.K. Comstock National Transit, Inc.

Bill Heavin leads L.K. Comstock National Transit, which specializes in performing design support, engineering and installation, testing, start-up and maintenance services for mass transit systems throughout the United States, outside the Greater New York area. He has 26 years of operations management experience in rail and transit systems, electrical and general contracting that includes overseeing a vast portfolio of projects including Design Build, Bid Build and CMGC projects. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a licensed master electrician in the State of Texas. He came to L.K. Comstock in 2012 and has served as Vice President of Operations, overseeing the successful completion of numerous major transit systems projects, including in the Dallas, Los Angeles and Seattle metropolitan areas. He has held project leadership roles with the Walsh Group (Archer Western) in its heavy civil construction division that includes project manager over the construction of the DART Green Line Buildout in Dallas. Under his leadership, L.K. Comstock has achieved exemplary safety performance and continued its national expansion.
 

John Brohm

Executive Vice President, PNR RailWorks

John Brohm joined RailWorks in 2017 and is responsible for PNR RailWorks’ Track, Signal & Communications, GO Transit Maintenance and Major Projects divisions in Ontario. He brings to PNR RailWorks more than 30 years of experience leading enterprises in the transit and rail industry. Prior to joining RailWorks John served as President & CEO of Thales Transport & Security. He also has held prior leadership positions with Alcatel Transport Automation (U.S.), Inc. John earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Queens University in Kingston, ON and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.

John Young

President, Track and Transit Construction

John Young came to RailWorks in 2014 in the role of Executive Vice President. He is responsible for leading the Major Projects division in the United States and Canada. John has leadership capabilities and extensive experience in transportation and heavy civil works projects developed over 20 years working for the United States Army and several contractors, including Kiewit and Zachry Construction. In his most recent role as Senior Vice President at Zachry Construction, John contributed to its geographic expansion, revenue growth and exemplary safety performance while implementing operational best practices. John earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and later completed the Executive MBA program at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.

Richard Carney

Executive Vice President, Track Construction Services

Richard Carney is responsible for the Track Construction business across the United States and Canada. He is a railroad construction industry veteran, with nearly 30 years of experience. Richard began his career as a Foreman on the San Joaquin division of Southern Pacific Railway, a Class I railroad. In the early ‘90s, he joined Amtrak, where he held various engineering management positions in California, including Resident Engineer of Track & Structures and Assistant Division Engineer of Track & Structures. Since joining RailWorks in 2000, he has held a range of management positions with progressively more responsibility. He most recently served as Vice President of RailWorks Track Systems, with responsibility for railroad and rail-transit construction and maintenance projects of all scopes and sizes throughout the Western and Central United States.

Jay Gowan

Senior Vice President, Track Construction Services

Jay Gowan serves as the Senior Vice President, Track. A third generation railroader, he has been working in the industry since 1994. He got his start in the railroad industry with the Ohio Central Railroad as a track laborer. After his stay with the Ohio Central, he held a sales & estimating position with Atlas Railroad Construction Company. Moving from Atlas, Jay spent five years with Hartford & Associates, a manufacturing representative company as a Territory Sales Manager. Following this position, Jay served as the Vice President of Operations at Roadway Worker Services, a welding contractor. After RWS, Jay spent eleven years with Harsco Rail as a Regional Vice President leading operations, sales and business strategy development. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a business double major in Management and Marketing.

Jason Deaton

Vice President and General Manager, RailWorks Maintenance of Way

Jason is responsible for leading RailWorks Maintenance of Way, a RailWorks Corporation subsidiary, that provides maintenance-of-way (MOW) services for Class I and short line railroads throughout the United States and Canada.  Jason has worked in the railroad construction industry for over 25 years, beginning his career as a laborer/operator during summer breaks while attending college at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.  After graduating with a degree in Business Management, Jason began his full-time career within the rail industry as the Manager of Estimating with Volunteer Trackworks.  Jason joined RailWorks in 2011 as a Project Manager and has continued to grow his career within MOW by holding positions as the Director of Technical Services and Director of MOW.  Jason was named Vice President and General Manager for RailWorks MOW in January 2023.  

Tim Orlandi

Vice President and General Manager

Tim Orlandi came to RailWorks in 2012 and has more than 35 years of signals & communication experience in the railroad industry. He is responsible for signals & communications projects throughout the United States, including highway warning systems, wayside signals, classification yards, Positive Train Control (PTC) and Centralized Traffic Control (CTC) installations. Prior to joining RailWorks, Tim spent his entire career in the CSX Transportation signal organization where he most recently served as Assistant Chief Engineer. Tim has extensive expertise with signal system technology and implementations in a range of railroad environments. His broad industry experience has given him a thorough understanding of working not only with Class I railroads, but also interfacing with short line and passenger rail lines.
