RailWorks Teams with Hiring Our Heroes

Program Designed to Connect Veterans with Hiring Companies

RailWorks is proud to work with U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) initiative, a program designed to connect our country’s veterans and military spouses with employment opportunities.

As part of our participation in the HOH Corporate Fellowship Program, RailWorks, North American’s leading rail infrastructure solutions provider, is hosting a transitioning service member in our Chehalis, Wash., office for an 11-week session. The intention is to expand our participation in the program to include opportunities in our Southern California locations.

The Hiring Our Heroes program is a vital link between the veteran community and our business,” said Harry Glantz, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at RailWorks Corp.

Hiring Our Heroes, a program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, launched in 2011 as a nationwide initiative to help veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses find meaningful employment opportunities. Working with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s vast network of state and local chambers and strategic partners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors, our goal is to create a movement across America in hundreds of communities where veterans and military families return every day.
