NARSTCO supplied 53,000 steel ties, 46 steel turnout sets, 11 steel crossovers, and 38 steel tie sliding derail sets for the Georgia Ports Authority’s Mason Mega Rail Terminal.
Once complete, the new terminal will be the largest on-dock intermodal rail facility for a port authority in North America, doubling the Port of Savannah’s rail capacity to 1 million container lifts per year.
