ZoneGuard Portable Kit
Durable, Lightweight, Flexible
The portable kit is durable and easily transported to job sites. Each device in the kit weighs under five pounds and can be setup in minutes. The portable kit’s detection and alerting system can be customized for customers via configurable detection settings. This allows the ZoneGuard team to test specific scenarios where alerts should be generated (train, hi-rail vehicles) and should not be generated (people, cars) and allows customers to have the system tailored to their unique environment.
ZoneGuard Fixed System
Providing 24/7 Train Tracking Capabilities
ZoneGuard’s Fixed System is easy to maintain and troubleshoot, has enhanced GPS accuracy, and is an affordable way to deploy Roadway Worker Protection throughout your network. The system makes use of multiple and diverse sensors and can retrieve train speed and direction directly from the train detection module, without relying on onboard train equipment. This information provides work crews with an additional level of redundancy that will allow the system to provide accurate alerts.
The system’s optional onboard unit can be installed in the locomotive cab and to give train operators a warning alert when they are approaching an active work zone. While the onboard unit is not required for the system to operate, it does provide another level of communication and safety for rail maintenance crews.
In addition to the protection of workers, ZoneGuard Fixed System’s cloud-based web portal can provide customers with real-time worker/work zone information. This includes key efficiency and safety performance reports to ensure that workers are working in compliance with federal and customer specific safety rules.
