L.K. Comstock National Transit Wins Safety Award

L.K. Comstock National Transit has been awarded the Construction Safety Excellence Award from the Associated General Contractors of California (AGC) at the 34th Annual Construction Safety Excellence Awards Luncheon held at the AGC of CA #CONSTRUCT2021 Conference in Indian Wells, Calif.

L.K. Comstock National Transit was awarded first place in the Specialty Contractor Division (under 400,000 worker hours). L.K. Comstock has been performing essential work for public transit agencies in California for years, upgrading existing transit systems and building new transit system expansions throughout the state.

“Safety is our top priority every day and in every job we perform,” said Bill Heavin, President of L.K. Comstock National Transit. “I am extremely proud of the work our teams do to maintain a strong safety culture and keep our employees and the traveling public safe, and to be recognized for those efforts is outstanding. Thank you to the AGC for this award.”

Formed in 1920, AGC of California is one of the largest chapters of the Associated General Contractors of America, providing advocacy, education, career development, and networking opportunities to experienced and next generation construction and contracting professionals.
