PNR RailWorks helped Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) expand its track infrastructure along a coal route in British Columbia.

From July to December in 2011, PNR RailWorks constructed about 13,000 feet of track for a new main line and siding, which included installing eight turnouts and performing 150 Thermite welds. RailWorks crews also unloaded and stockpiled all incoming materials, distributed ballast, and surfaced and de-stressed the track. The work was performed in southeast British Columbia locations Caithness, Morrissey, Fort Steele, Colvalli and Sparwood.
