In the scenic Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, RailWorks Track Services rehabilitated two bridges along the Finger Lakes Railway, a Class III railroad with 167 miles of track.

Crews installed 126 new timbers on the bridge in Seneca Falls, N.Y., in addition to replacing the guardrails and inner guardrail with new timber guardrails.

In Geneva, N.Y., RailWorks installed 46 new bridge timbers, new timber guardrails and approach ties. The crew also surfaced the bridge approaches and removed the timber deck off an adjacent unused bridge span.

For both bridge rehabilitations, RailWorks provided material distribution and tie disposal and completed the projects on time and within budget.
