PNR RailWorks Making an Impact in Toronto
PNR RailWorks is working to enhance the city’s transportation network through the Union Station Rail Corridor (USRC) Signaling Project, a multi-year contract to upgrade the signal system in Union Station. And the company is looking for experienced team members to join our ranks!
Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, Union Station is the largest and busiest rail passenger facility in Canada. The transportation hub is essential for keeping city life moving — connecting the subway and streetcar system and getting passengers where they need to be.
“The USRC project is key to improving and modernizing public transit in Toronto,” said John Brohm, Executive Vice President of PNR RailWorks. “It’s a demanding project that calls for the best industry talent to meet the implementation challenges.”
The USRC is one of the top transit projects underway in North America, with the potential to impact thousands of Union Station’s daily passengers and upgrade the system to handle ridership volumes and service patterns for the next 30 years.
